Since 2010, the home and flagship of Labour and Wait has been 85 Redchurch Street. This handsome and instantly recognisable late Georgian building was formerly a Truman brewery pub called The Dolphin, and still boasts its original green tiled façade.

MARYLEBONE
48 Dorset St, West End

We are excited to announce the opening of a second London shop at 48 Dorset Street in Marylebone. The new space will feature the full product roster and the same friendly faces of the Shoreditch team. Opening on Thursday 3rd June 2021, it also marks the 21st anniversary of our first shop in East London. 

The new shop is the last building in a grand red brick terrace, built around 1900, retaining the original parquet flooring and some internal tiling from former occupants. We like the fact that traditional businesses like real pubs, dry cleaners and shoe repairers rub shoulders with notable restaurants and boutique hotels in this neighbourly community of the West End.

DOVER STREET MARKET
Haymarket, West End

In addition to our shop in London, Labour and Wait can also be found on the third floor of Dover Street Market. Now housed in a landmark building on Haymarket, this store is highly regarded for its creativity and innovation.

THE WORKROOM
Bethnal Green, East End

The Workroom is our office and stock holding location, and offers a 'counter service' at the front, a bit like a 'posh Argos'. Browse our website beforehand, make a note of what you'd like, then pop by to purchase. You can also order online and collect from the Workroom. All the same goods as our shop, but without the hoi polloi!

SHIBUYA
Tokyo, Japan

We have enjoyed a long association with Japan. This resulted in the opening of our shop in Tokyo in 2017. The shop is located in Sendagaya, an area close to Harajuku. The space itself was formerly the garage for an apartment building. Whilst the exterior may be strikingly different from our London shop, visitors will instantly recognize the familiar Labour and Wait atmosphere.
